Royal Air Force Air Cadets - the next generation

181 (City of Gloucester) Squadron
Air Training Corps

Welcome

Welcome to the website of 181 (City of Gloucester) Squadron. We are a thriving Air Cadet squadron, parading twice weekly on a Monday and a Wednesday evening.

Air Cadets squadrons accept new recruits, both boys and girls, aged from 13 to 16, regardless of background. Cadets take part in a wide variety of activities, including the opportunity to go flying or gliding, as well as rifle shooting, sports, and much more. Cadets may also study for nationally-recognised BTEC qualifications or attempt their Duke of Edinburgh's Award. Our cadets also attend a range of external events, including residential camps in the UK and abroad. Click here to find out more about joining 181 Squadron.

Air Cadets squadrons are run entirely by volunteers from the local community. Staff typically volunteer for 2-4 hours per week. There are roles for both uniformed and non-uniformed staff. Click here to find out more about volunteering at 181 Sqn.
